Richey’s Personal Data Protection Policy
Richey Capacitor and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “Richey Group”) recognize that proper use and protection of information that can identify individual customers (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”) are a primary responsibility of the Richey Group. Based on this understanding, Richey adheres to the following personal data protection policy and we’ve established a management system making it known to all our related employees that this policy will be thoroughly observed throughout the Richey Group.
1. Acquisition and Intended Use of Personal Data
When the Richey Group obtains personal data from its customers, it shall clearly indicate in advance the purpose for which the personal data is to be used and the scope of its use.
2. Safety Management of Personal Data
Richey Group ensures the safety of all personal data and shall provide specific training to all related employees to take all relevant security measures related to personal data.
3. Providing Personal Data to Third Parties
The Richey Group shall neither disclose nor provide a customer’s personal data to third parties, except when a customer’s consent cannot be obtained or if under the follow circumstances:
A. When customer has given explicit consent prior to the Disclosure.
B. To comply with government laws and regulations.
C. When disclosure is necessary for the protection of human life, human health or protection of property.
D. When necessary to cooperate with a government agency, local authorities, or a person commissioned by such entities in their execution of official tasks prescribed by law and regulations.
4. Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, etc. of Personal Data
The Richey Group shall handle requests from a customer (him/herself) to disclose, correct or delete personal data properly and promptly.
5. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Richey Group shall observe all related laws, regulations and standards. We will also look at ways to continually improve its activities related to the protection of personal data.
